Choro presents a mixture of styles (Brazillian folk and Jazz on the one hand, and European Avant Garde, on the other) and performance techniques that are highly contrasting in nature.

Throughout this piece, one can hear the beautiful melodic potential and the subtle character of the guitar juxtaposed to its more percussive, even violent side.
