Awarded grants from the National Endowment for the Arts (Grants for Arts Projects) and Georgia Southern University College of Arts and Humanities (Research Impact Award) to support the performance and video production of In Flux. This new work for live ensemble and multichannel electronics explores the plasticity of time and space perception, investigating how temporal experience shifts through movement, resonance, and spatialized sound. The project – which also features a companion piece, Space of Time, by colleague and collaborator John Thompson – includes a concert presentation at the Otis Johnson Cultural Arts Center in Savannah and video release directed by Erich Perez. Thrilled to work with Galan Trio again as well as Brazilian bassist Gabriel Scavassa Borin, GSU Percussion faculty Stephen Busath, and Nicholas Gray.
